Float Wide

The Float collection is a family of seating, offering flexible solutions for a wide variety of workplace, hospitality and residential environments.
Developed in collaboration with Australian brand ‘Worthy’, the design brief was to create a versatile wood stacking chair for local and international markets.  A materials-led approach to design was taken, using carefully developed detailing to inform the overall aesthetic.  The visual quality of Float is quite restrained – executed purposefully to appeal to a broad a market.

The Float collection leverages a single detail – the impression that the seat shell is hovering or ‘floating’ above its support structure, with the clever use of negative space.

The collection comes in a multitude of natural veneer or stained finishes as well as Seat Pad or full front face upholstery options for an added dimension of comfort.
