Softer than steel is a poetic and delicate collection. Constructed from rigid sheet metal, the metal surface is bent and folded to create the chairs backrest. The ordinarily hard metal gains new functionality, the result appears light and flexible as if the metal were paper or fabric.
The Softer Than Steel Collection includes a chair, bench, coat rack and selection of occasional tables. Benches are a available in both indoor and outdoor versions.
MATERIALS
Table Top: Constructed from folded metal sheet, powdercoated to house colour
Base: Reinforcing rod steel legs, powdercoated to house colour
