F522 Lounge Chair, designed by Geoffrey D. Harcourt RDI, is part of Artifort’s iconic F500 series. Developed from Harcourt’s vision of informal, intuitive lounging, the collection is shaped around the natural posture of the human body, combining generous comfort with a distinctive sculptural presence.

Originally introduced in 1984 and reissued in 2026 alongside F518 Lounge Chair, F522 is characterised by its generously proportioned seat and distinctive moulded shell with a removable upholstered seat pad. This layered construction enhances the chair’s tactile appeal while maintaining the supportive comfort and enveloping form that define the collection.

Available in high-quality fabric or leather upholstery, the carefully tailored elements accentuate the refined contours of the design.
