Upholstery , Netherlands

Designed by Pierre Paulin in the late 1950s, the Moulin Family reflects his early exploration of elegant, understated seating, laying the foundation for the more sculptural and experimental designs that would later define his career. Characterised by slender metal frames and beautifully proportioned upholstered seats, the collection exemplifies Paulin’s enduring commitment to comfort, simplicity and timeless design.

Named after Rue Jean Moulin, where the collection was conceived, the Moulin Chair embodies quiet sophistication, refined craftsmanship and considered design. Its versatile form is equally suited to dining settings and workspaces, bringing a sense of understated elegance to both residential and commercial interiors.
