Hull High Back

The Hull collection by Tom Fereday for Swiss Design draws inspiration from traditional boat-building techniques, resulting in a lounge series that embodies both structural efficiency and sculptural elegance. Crafted from a single sheet of eco plywood, each piece features a lozenge-shaped form that tapers in all directions, creating a minimal and slim profile with subtle curves that ensure maximum comfort. The seamless upholstery design eliminates visible zips or fittings, offering a clean and refined aesthetic from every angle.

Designed from the inside out, the Hull lounge utilises a unique framing technique that minimises material usage while enhancing strength. The collection includes small and large ottomans, single and double seat lounges with high and low back options, and an armed ‘wingback’ version. Base options feature solid timber in Walnut, Ash or stained black, as well as upholstery and a memory return swivel base for the single lounge. An optional European cross-stitch detail, available in a range of thread colours, adds a subtle decorative touch.
